Ariadna (Arina) Maksin is a poet and neurobiology researcher. Awarded first runner-up in Palette Poetry’s 2025-26 Rejected Poetry Prize judged by Mai Der Vang, her work can be found in Palette Poetry, Scapegoat Review, and Eunoia Review, among others. Arina is an alumna of the Iowa Young Writers' Studio and recipient of the Laidlaw Scholarship for her research on addiction circuitry. She splits her life between the West and East Coast, and her time dissecting either diction or brains.

Turner Edwards is a writer and undergraduate at Georgetown university with an interest in neuroscience. His written work can be found in The Anthem Literary Magazine. Originally from Houston, Texas, he enjoys reading as a form of stimulus and writing as a form of expression.

Emily (Em) Gao is a senior currently attending Princeton Day School and an artist with a deep passion for the sciences. She is incredibly interested in marine ecology and views art as a powerful bridge between science and the public. She loves creating in all forms of art, fine and literary. In her free time, she loves exploring the outdoors and going cafe hopping.
